A little hole on the wall w/ great flavor. Highly recommend to those who miss German food.

The place is pretty dingy and I think a more accurate review of this place would be the German Fryer. What I had was a Chicken Schniztel and it was poorly fried
The only redeeming thing about this place was its mushroom sauce, and decent customer service. -

Well I had already walked in before I took a look around.. Nice people (person). But the place is definitely a hole in the wall.. I knew I was in trouble when a man walked in walked behind the counter grabbed a cup of coffee looks around and ask y'all still open? Normally you'd find great food at these type of hole in the wall places but naw not here. I got the curry schnitzel with fries (one of few sides) and yesterday's German Salad (two sliced maters and torn wilted lettuce). It was so ok if you just need something to fill you up..

Great German food and the best I've had from since actually being in Germany a few years ago!
I was seated promptly and order was taken very fast. Very hearty portions. Order the JagerSchnitzel if you are hungry and want to fill up!
I will definitely be returning soon!
Beer of course is available too! -

Almost everything here is fried.
The only items NOT fried are the iceberg lettuce salad and the desserts.
The salad was crisp and fresh with a perfectly ripe juicy tomato slice on top. Not a fan of iceberg lettuce, however, the homemade German dressing made this little salad fantastic. The dressing was tangy and full of flavor.
I ordered the chicken schnitzel and wasn't thrilled about the prospect of eating this specimen since I avoid fried food like the plague. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chicken was actually fairly tender and juicy despite how terrible it looked on the outside. The mushroom gravy was very tasty as well and probably helped to mask the flavor of the fried breading. And, the serving size was generous; check the photos. You get 2 large pieces of schnitzel with two sides.
The potato salad is vinegar based and they will warm it for you which, I believe, significantly improves the taste. If you end up too full to finish your potato salad, just bring it home and fry it up into a potato pancake another day.
Fast, friendly and efficient service. I love that it is a family owned business and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. If you don't enjoy fried food, it's probably not for you.
Maybe a high 3 stars rounded up to 4.
